Dr. Careen graduated the University Putra Malaysia in 2006. Upon graduation, Dr. Careen practiced in Malaysia until 2013 before going to the United Kingdom and practiced there while studying and qualifying for Membership with the Royal Veterinary Surgeons Board in 2014. Dr. Careen joined Pets Central in 2015 as a well-seasoned all-around veterinary surgeon who has taken many post-graduate small and large animal courses.

Dr. Careen speaks, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and Korean.
